class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since these are documents and procedures that are a bit difficult for amateurs to prepare, it is common to use a customs broker or a freight forwarder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the flow is to create and submit the necessary documents after the wine arrives in Japan, there will be a large time loss, and there is a possibility of being charged notification and the manufacturing process chart are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documents to Submit to Customs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, although this is common to all commercial import products, the following documents are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Invoice (stating price, quantity, product name, and country of origin)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Packing list (showing packaging type, number of items, volume, and weight)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Import declaration form (document to declare to customs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bill of Lading or Air Waybill (document proving the means of transportation and cargo ownership)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, to receive preferential tariff treatment (such as EPA), a Certificate of Origin will also be required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By submitting the Certificate of Notification of Importation of Foods received from the class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documents Related to the Liquor Tax Act and Liquor Business Association Laws<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To sell wine, it is necessary to obtain a liquor sales license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The license is called a liquor sales license, and the locations and contents that can be sold differ depending on the Use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hi-japan.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/wine-4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hi-japan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/wine-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15504\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will also guide you on the whichever is lower (minimum 67 yen\/L)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for the actual tax rates, they are divided very finely, so be sure to check with customs officials!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since many countries are exempt from customs duties, it is necessary to check this area carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Liquor Tax<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The liquor tax for wine is determined per kiloliter, so be careful with the units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
